"Water Supply and Sewerage" EAD – Burgas implemented a project under the Operational Program "Human Resources Development"


At the end of June, the implementation of Project BG05M9OP001-1.021-0233 was completed “Improving the Professional Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills of Employees at VIK EAD – Burgas.”
The project was implemented under the Operational Program “Human Resources Development” 2014–2020, Priority Axis 1: “Improving Access to Employment and the Quality of Jobs” under Procedure BG05M9OP001-1.021 “Training for Employees” – COMPONENT II.
In fulfillment of the main activities under Grant Agreement BG05M9OP001-1.021-0233-C01, 450 employees of “VIK” EAD Burgas underwent training in the following components:
► Provision of vocational training for employed persons to acquire professional qualifications. 250 employees of the company completed training for part of the “Water and Sewerage Network Installer” profession, specializing in “Internal Water and Sewerage Networks” and “External Water and Sewerage Networks”;
► Training to acquire key competencies for employees, in accordance with the European Qualifications Framework for Key Competency 2, “Communication in Foreign Languages.” A total of 200 employees at “Water Supply and Sewerage” EAD Burgas completed training in Russian, German, and English.

The project’s total cost is 319,000 (three hundred nineteen thousand) leva, with the entire amount provided by the Operational Program “Human Resources Development,” co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
