Important Information
In order to ensure a water supply for residents and tourists during the summer season and to prevent potential disruptions in the water supply, the necessary organizational and technical measures have been taken to ensure a normal and uninterrupted water supply by “VIK” Burgas
Dear Consumers,
On May 27, 2026, a scheduled connection was made between the second reservoir (with a capacity of 12,500 m³, located in the “Strolata” area) and the water distribution network. These activities are part of the project “Reconstruction of the Water Supply and Sewerage Network of the City of Nesebar” under the Integrated Water Project for Burgas Province. Until now, water supply has been provided by a single reservoir with a capacity of 20,000 m³.
The planned repairs are designed to minimize disruption to the upcoming tourist season, while ensuring additional water supplies during the peak summer months.
Timely information regarding upcoming repair work on the water distribution network is published on the water utility’s official website under the “Current Repairs” section. “Water and Sewerage” EAD – Burgas is working in coordination with all relevant institutions. Regarding the scheduled repair on May 27, 2026, these institutions were notified in a timely manner (more than a month in advance).
The water supply to the area was suspended around 9:30 a.m. on May 27, 26, in order to carry out construction and installation work on the connections. By 8:30 p.m., water service had been restored to all parts of the Nesebar Municipality.
The team at “VIK” EAD Burgas thanks residents for their patience and apologizes for the inconvenience caused. We assure residents that every effort is being made to organize and carry out the planned repair work smoothly, with minimal impact on the tourist season.
Sincerely,
the “VIK” EAD Burgas Team
